This is a list of my most recommended organizing products. I am an Amazon Associate and therefore make a percentage of sales from the Amazon links. I’ve also included links to other vendors that I don’t currently make anything from. This list includes items that I or clients have used in their homes.
Fisher And Paykel Drawer Dishwasher or at BestBuyRev-a-Shelf Blind Corner Cabinet Pullout: Be sure to check the cabinet width as there are at least two different sizes of openings for this product.
Drawer Knife Blocks: I bought mine from Williams Sonoma because they had a very narrow block that perfectly fit in my space. You can find that one here.
Rev-a-Shelf Under Sink Tip Out Tray Kit: Be sure to measure your cabinet to select the right version for your kitchen, but these can be installed at any point!
Under Cabinet Trashcan: My exact soft bin is no longer for sale but I prefer a softer bin so it can flex around all the odd things under the sink. I use mine for wet recycling.
Rubbermaid Collapsible Step-Stool: These are great to tuck in beside the refridgerator and pull out to access all those tall awkward cabinets.
Glass Spray Bottle I like the glass with a silicone base for balance purposes. The spray head is what’s most important though. You want to get a nice fine mist.
Wire Drawer OrganizersDrawer Knife Blocks: I bought mine from Williams Sonoma because they had a very narrow block that perfectly fit in my space. You can find that one here.
Silverware Set and Wire Organizer: Some have asked where I got my silverware organizer but it only comes with the actual silverware as far as I can tell. It’s worked well for me for many years.
mDesign Long Clear Bins: I used these to subdivide the large deep drawer in my kitchen.
mDesign Short Clear Bins: I used one of these to further divide the large deep drawer. They are tall which is great for deep drawers.
Also, on Amazon you can find similar Multi-purpose Bins.
Similar to the small bins from The Container Store, you can find similar smaller bins here on Amazon.
These are the White clip labels used for the bins as shown above.
Collapsible Valet Hook
I keep this Hanging Laundry Bag in my bedroom closet instead of a bin. That way there is no clothing outside of my closet.
Sweater Boxes from The Container Store. There are a variety of them and I’ve used nearly every type across my spaces and customers. They are reasonably priced and function very well in standard spaces.
Elfa Shelving units also sold at The Container Store go on sale a few times a year and are very versatile. Though they are expensive, there are numerous variations and you can customize most spaces. The link is similar to the design I started with, but I added more drawers and shelves which brought the system to around $900. You can add to your system quite easily over time, which is what one of my clients has done.
Another system I considered was ClosetMaid Closet System. These prebuilt systems adapt a bit and are significantly cheaper. I was looking at one like this with a narrower drawer system prior to opting for Elfa, which was a much bigger splurge.
We used reinforced zipper clothing bins on a clients project. They fit well in the space and have held up well.
With metal rails, I was able to add lighting by using these Magnetic Rechargeable Lights.
Another favorite multipurpose item in the bedroom is this Hanging Full Length Mirror and Jewelry Box that also locks.
Pilates Reformer: This folds up and wheels around. I keep mine in the office closet. It’s great for anyone who has already taken classes to learn technique. Reformer Pilates is wonderful for recovering from injuries.
Indoor Spin Bike. Who knew cycling could be fun! The bike is quiet and well priced.
I added this Tricep Rope to my resistance band package to complete my resistance training program.
Here is the Resistance Band Set that I purchased years before.
I can’t fully recommend these but if you can’t do a real mirror these Flexible Mirror Tiles are better than nothing. You’ll probably have better luck if you use their sticky pads to adhere them but I wasn’t confident I could get the residue off the walls.
Phone holder adapter for tripod and remoteUSB microphone
I have the old-school Kindle Reader for better sleep and migraine reduction. I checkout library books via Libby and it works so well for me. It’s much lighter than a tablet and much cheaper too.
This Fix-a-Latch kit saved me from having to replace an entire doorframe that was kicked out prior to purchasing my house. With a bit of chissling and glueing my latch is fully functional again!
High Platform Bed FrameCar Trashcan: I’ve been gifting this to others because I LOVE it. It’s loose so it doesn’t take up space until it fills up. It empties from the bottom and the closure at the top keeps things in and not showing.
One of my favorite parts of my home gym is the pegboard on which I used this Pegboard Organizer Set.
Many clients are paranoid about their mail and it can keep them from getting it out of their house. I highly recommend if you are this way that you get an Ink Blotter to save you time and allow you to quickly and thoroughly cover up the information that concerns you and move on with your day.
With this Swivel Head Deburring Tool you can turn cheap bins into much smoother feeling bins. It can’t make them thicker but it can remove any sharp plastic bits left on the sides of the cheaper bins. Run this along the edges and smooth them up quickly.
The P-Touch Labeler has been the cheapest and quickest office organizing solution. Larger labels can be printed on a printer, but for the small ones, this is the way to go.
Mediterranean Diet Cookbook – Paperback. To be honest I haven’t tried this one yet, but it sounds great. I saw a sneak preview of it but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. With my MCAS condition I’m always concerned about food triggers but this hybrid diet sounds like a great compromise for me, so I’ve shared it here in case it sounds good to you too!
This Pill Organizer solves a lot of travel issues for me. I can rearrange the days in the container and bring only a few days with me if I want. They are protected from water in the outer layer, but allow me to bring only what I need inside. I have four so that I can prep up my entire month.
Photo BoxPlastic Photo BoxPlastic Black Chalkboard LabelsHidden Toilet Brush Holder. I know this one sounds crazy. It’s a recommendation from my sister and I was like “do you even own this?” and she said yes. I have NEVER seen this product after spending a lot of time in her house. I had no idea!
Magnetic Bins are great for collecting things off of counters and onto appliances. I used an iDesign one with a client to hold her bra bags on the washing machine. My sister uses this one to collect papers on her fridge. She’s a huge fan of this system.
Bike Wall Holders: Below you can see how I attached my bike. I had to run scrap wood across to get prper support on an inside wall. However, this works perfect as most others want to hold the bike by the center support which doesn’t work with this type of bike. It has never fallen and keeps my bike high enough up to allow my car doors to swing open without hitting it.
